Different reasons caused the increase on price of 2016-2017cauliflower& broccoli in China,

much higher price than expected had occurred.

Cauliflower:

1. Plantation area had been decreased about40%thanlast season.

2.In.the remained60% plantation area, there are about half for variety especially to

domestic market.So in total there would be atleast60%-70% decreased for exported frozen

cauliflowers.

3. Season had been shortened due to the weather also.

It was estimated heavy increased on price.

Broccoli:

1. Plantation area had not been decreased or even alittle increased thanlast season.

2. Due to vegetable shortage in domestic market which was caused by bad weather,

domestic market demand on broccoli had increased alot than before.

3. As broccoli quantity decrease had been ed from Mexico and some Europe area,

demand from China is expected to increase than before.

So more than15% cost had increased thanlast season.
