Sahadan Salim revealed that Malaysia will export 3 month early flat cabinet (40ft), each cabinet 20 tons of pineapple to Chinese, then slowly increase the export volume, plans to 2018 monthly export of 20 flat cabinets, mainly in the main MD2 pineapple.
It is said that in 2015 the Malaysia pineapple export value of 1.61 ringgit (equivalent to about 250 million yuan), is expected in 2020 exports 2.54 pineapple ringgit (about 394 million yuan). To achieve this goal, the government of Malaysia has plans to increase the area of pineapple cultivation, by 2020 will increase to 7120 hectares.
